In the past few months, Zimbabwe’s
circumstances have caused the generation of many more studies and I have tried
to capture thoughts from most of these in the attached report.
As you will see, I remain convinced that some of the more important issues are still being side-stepped while the authorities are trying to redefine the problems in less critical or less demanding terms. These efforts have won no admiration from abroad and are delaying the enactment of the promised reforms, so Zimbabwe has yet to qualify for assistance from international bodies.
Changes will no doubt come eventually, but meanwhile I can offer you only the attached report and my best wishes!
